After serving with Brandt Law PLLC as an Intern and then as a Law Clerk, Ashley is now an Associate with the Firm.  While attending law school, Ashley held several positions such as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Emily Pines in Suffolk Supreme Court Commercial Division, as well as a Legal Intern for the Town of Brookhaven. Ashley was also a Teaching Assistant and actively tutored her fellow law students in all areas of the law.  Furthermore, she was an active member in several clubs serving as the Secretary for the Fashion Law Society and the Business Law Club.

In addition to a broad legal experience, Ashley has obtained a vast amount of retail experience while managing several major retail stores. These experiences enabled Ashley to understand the fashion retail industry and efficiently generate solutions to any issues that arise.  Additionally, Ashley serves as the co-owner and advisor to several online lifestyle brands.   

Ashley earned her J.D. from Touro Law Center and received her B.A. in Psychology from City College of New York

Prior to the formation of Brandt Law PLLC, Laura gained extensive experience serving in senior in-house positions including:

• General Counsel for fashion retailers such as H&M, Syms, and Filene's Basement generally providing legal oversight to the Board of Directors and the executive management teams managing the real property (acquisitions, dispositions, sale leasebacks) and leases (drafting and negotiating new leases, modifications and work outs as well as construction contracts); drafting policies, reviewing contracts, providing strategic advice in negotiations and handling litigation;
• General Counsel for Burch Creative Capital through which Laura provided legal services across several legal categories as well as project management of retail construction projects;
• Associate General Counsel at Apple Core Hotels, a hotel and property management company with six Manhattan hotels, two office buildings and an assortment of other real estate and investment assets where Laura created the human resources function, handled management and employee training issues for general legal compliance as well as union contract compliance, became OSHA certified as well as negotiated and reviewed a variety of legal projects including franchise agreements, financing documents, hotel development, tenant leases, and SRO matters; and
• Associate General Counsel for Ranieri & Co., Inc., a private investment firm, handling corporate structure and governance matters, joint venture agreements, real estate development deals, and acquisition of interests in an assortment of investments.  

Laura earned her J.D. from Touro Law Center and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago.
